Enacting a symbolic reversal of the colonial museum system (Pachacuti in quechua cosmovision) to confront the Humboldt Forum. The project focused on the 56,000 pre-Hispanic pieces and human remains held in Berlin without the consultation of Indigenous communities. Through relational art, we facilitated assemblies and performances involving Berlin-based Indigenous resistance groups to reconnect living cultures with the objects privatized within the Berliner Schloss. The process culminated in a community ritual and a documentary designed to bridge the gap between the extracted knowledge in European museums and the communities maintaining that knowledge today.
